About
Navaneeth GS is a robotics engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in designing and developing robots for various applications. He is a problem solver with a major in robotics and automation engineering and is passionate about building robots. Navaneeth has worked on the Mahindra Rise driverless car design team, where he was responsible for building an object detection system using TensorFlow. This project has made him an expert in various CNN models like inception, VGG net, ResNet, and others, as well as image processing, basics of neural networks, and familiarity with different platforms like TensorFlow and Keras. Navaneeth has designed several robots, including a Kiwi drive robot, a self-balancing robot, and a Mecanum wheel omni-directional robot, which has made him a master of ROS - Robot Operating System, communication between robots and visualizers, designing of wireless communication systems to control robots, development of Android applications to control bots, and designing of PID controllers for bots. Apart from designing robots, Navaneeth has also designed a data logger for a polymer industry and developed a fitness band, which has made him a Python programmer, Java developer, and Android app developer. Currently, he is working as a robotics engineer at Movel AI, where he is designing a full Autonomous Navigation software for changing manual vehicles into autonomous vehicles. Navaneeth has worked as a path planning engineer in Flux Auto, where he retrofitted a manual gulf cart model into an autonomous vehicle and worked on an autonomous tractor that can plow and spray water in the field autonomously. As a robotic software engineer in Asimov Robotics, Navaneeth designed, developed, tested, and validated numerous robots, including a 5 dof robotic manipulator for welding application, an autonomous car, an autonomous mobile robot-like Mecanum drive, Omni robot(kiwi drive), Differential drive, and Saya(Humanoid Robot). He has in-depth knowledge and expertise in simulation of robotic manipulator using Gazebo and controlling the arm using move_group through Rviz and Python, c++ APIs, simulation of autonomous navigation of mobile robots using Gazebo and Ros navigation stack, design and 3D modeling of robots using SolidWorks, mathematical modeling and analysis for robots (kinematic modeling for mecanum and kiwi drive platform), motor control systems and PID controllers, wired and wireless communication technology, MQTT and HTTP protocols in the Internet of things, knowledge in all type of sensor
